RPA8 – Kooiman BV

The vessel, RPA 8, is a hybrid patrol vessel that can sail on both diesel as well as diesel-electric. The vessel causes considerably less wake and is significantly more efficient than comparable vessels in this segment.

We delivered 5 large models of the RPA8 to Kooiman BV. This was a perfect example of where modern technologies are surpassing traditional scale modelling. 95% of this model is SLA 3D printed incl complete hull and super structure.

One of the models even contained a removable part to see the hybrid power train.
