We created a vision of future transport
A Hyperloop is a proposed mode of passenger and/or freight transportation, first used to describe an open-source vactrain design released by a joint team from Tesla and SpaceX. Drawing heavily from Robert Goddard’s vactrain, a hyperloop is a sealed tube or system of tubes through which a pod may travel free of air resistance or friction conveying people or objects at high speed while being very efficient. Hardt is the European Hyperloop Company. It was founded in 2016 in Delft, emerging from the TU Delft Hyperloop team who won at the SpaceX Pod Competition.
Thanks to AllOnScale you can already now enjoy the Hardt hyperloop in scale 1:40. We completed this scale model in 4 weeks. The Hyperloop train is 100% 3d printed on our multi jet printer. It was printed in sections and installed together. The interiour is light up with a double row of LED’s. The full interiour with all its panels and furniture is shown. All chairs are 3d printed. Glas is CNC cut from sheets of acrylic. The train was installed in acrylic tubes of ø90mm. The rail and pillars where SLS printed. The rail finished in aluminium color and the pillars in a concrete look effect paint. On top of the tubes we installed solar panels. The whole model is firmly installed on a wooden baseplate.
