A Story, Scaled —
Imagined with Precision
A tribute to craftsmanship, precision, and pride.
For this scale model, we crafted a highly detailed 1:25 scale model of the Grand Banks GB54, built with precision and care.
The story behind the model
To create a highly accurate scale model of the GB54, we began with detailed preparation in close collaboration with the client. Based on construction drawings, reference photos, and digital files, we translated the design into miniature with a strong focus on precision.
Using advanced techniques such as 3D printing, CNC milling, and laser cutting, we manufactured the hull, superstructure, deck, railings, and windows. The teak deck, one of the GB54’s most iconic features, was intentionally made slightly wider than scale to enhance its visual impact.
After careful assembly, the GB54 model was hand-painted and finished in our workshop, using color-matched coatings and details like navigation lights and deck fittings — resulting in a high-end, true-to-life yacht model built to impress.
Scaled for Impact
A scale model of the GB54 is more than a display piece — it’s a powerful marketing tool. Built to capture the yacht’s design, proportions, and overall presence, it allows potential clients to experience the vessel in a tangible, memorable way. For premium brands like Grand Banks, a miniature yacht model offers an ideal way to showcase craftsmanship at boat shows, in showrooms, or during private presentations — enhancing brand storytelling and client engagement.
“Throughout the entire process, we stayed in close contact with the client.”

Captain’s Log: What Clients Say
Navigation your Questions:
Can you build in any scale or size?
Yes, up to full size (1:1). We craft models at any scale with a minimum finished length of 300 mm (≈11.8 in) to keep the fine details shipshape.
Can you meet a specific event date?
Usually, yes. Let’s set the course early. Share your deadline (launch, trade show, gifting) and we’ll confirm feasibility, schedule the build, and—if timing is tight—propose phased delivery or display-ready milestones.
Can you repair or modify an existing model?
Yes, our workshop keeps models in trim. We handle repairs, refurbishments, and post-finishing. Share photos and a short description; we’ll advise on feasibility and timing.
Do you make small giveaway models (<300 mm)?
Below 300 mm, crucial detail is lost. If you specifically need small promotional pieces, we can point you to our sister brand.
Do you offer lighting, motion, or display furniture?
Aye—built-in options to suit your deck. We integrate lighting and moving elements, and can supply display furniture for exhibitions or trade shows.
Do you ship internationally?
We don’t book transport directly, but we make the voyage simple. Your model is professionally packed for international transit. We can introduce trusted logistics partners, while most clients book the courier or freight service themselves.
What information do you need for a quote?
A clear brief keeps us on heading. Please include photos/reference images, vessel name, desired finished length, and scale (e.g., 1:20). For faster, sharper pricing: 3D/2D drawings, RAL color references, preferred base/plaque, and any extras (flight case, presentation packaging, lighting, motion).
Where are you based and who will I work with?
Port of call: Arnhem, the Netherlands. Projects are led by owners Geert van Uffelen and Stijn Cox, supported by our in-house workshop team from brief to handover.
