Technical Precision —
Translated on Scale
Build by engineers for engineers
For Fassmer, AllOnScale build a serie of multiple scale models. The most recent project is the Fassmer Meteor IV at scale 1:100 and 1:50.
The story behind the model
AllOnScale built this METEOR IV scale model for Fassmer. The model presents the new German research vessel METEOR IV in a clear and professional way. The vessel is around 125 metres long and is being built for the German Federal Ministry of Education and Research. It will be used for worldwide marine research and will accommodate 35 scientists and 36 crew members.
A model like this helps shipyards present a vessel with more clarity. Hull shape, deck layout, superstructure and working areas become visible at a glance. That makes it useful for trade shows, client meetings, stakeholder presentations and office display.
Scaled for Impact
Built for maritime presentation
This METEOR IV scale model was built to present the vessel clearly and professionally. That is the point of a model like this. It helps a shipyard show what it is building. It helps visitors and clients understand the vessel faster. It gives the project weight in the room.
A strong technical scale model supports:
- maritime trade show presentations
- shipyard sales meetings
- stakeholder communication
- office and boardroom presentation
- project launches and milestone moments
For companies in shipbuilding, that is practical value. A good model keeps attention on the project and helps people remember it.
“Series production requires a different approach to scale modelling. AllOnScale knows what that takes.”

Captain’s Log: What Clients Say
Navigation your Questions:
Can you build in any scale or size?
Yes, up to full size (1:1). We craft models at any scale with a minimum finished length of 300 mm (≈11.8 in) to keep the fine details shipshape.
Can you meet a specific event date?
Usually, yes. Let’s set the course early. Share your deadline (launch, trade show, gifting) and we’ll confirm feasibility, schedule the build, and—if timing is tight—propose phased delivery or display-ready milestones.
Can you repair or modify an existing model?
Yes, our workshop keeps models in trim. We handle repairs, refurbishments, and post-finishing. Share photos and a short description; we’ll advise on feasibility and timing.
Do you ship internationally?
We don’t book transport directly, but we make the voyage simple. Your model is professionally packed for international transit. We can introduce trusted logistics partners, while most clients book the courier or freight service themselves.
Do you offer lighting, motion, or display furniture?
Aye—built-in options to suit your deck. We integrate lighting and moving elements, and can supply display furniture for exhibitions or trade shows.
What information do you need for a quote?
A clear brief keeps us on heading. Please include photos/reference images, vessel name, desired finished length, and scale (e.g., 1:20). For faster, sharper pricing: 3D/2D drawings, RAL color references, preferred base/plaque, and any extras (flight case, presentation packaging, lighting, motion).
Where are you based and who will I work with?
Port of call: Arnhem, the Netherlands. Projects are led by owners Geert van Uffelen and Stijn Cox, supported by our in-house workshop team from brief to handover.
